كشفت تقارير صحيفة خلال الساعات القليلة الماضية أن النادي الأهلي قد دخل في مفاوضات متقدمة من أجل التخلص من جناح الفريق الأول، لويس ميكيسوني.

وخرج ميكيسوني من حسابات الأهلي منذ فترة طويلة، أعير في بداية الموسم الماضي إلى أبها في الدوري السعودي ولكن تم قطع إعارته في يناير ولم يتدرب مع المارد الأحمر مرة أخرى.

كان يتدرب اللاعب في موزمبيق من خلال نادي سونجو آخر شهرين، حتى يحافظ على لياقته البدنية قبل معرفة وجهته المقبلة.

وبحسب صحيفة “Mwanachi” التنزانية أن الأهلي في مفاوضات متقدمة مع نادي سيمبا لعودة اللاعب إلى ناديه السابق بداية من الموسم المقبل على سبيل الإعارة لمدة موسم.

وأكدت الصحيفة أن المفاوضات تسير بشكل جيد تمامًا، حيث تم الاتفاق على الراتب السنوي ولكن لم يتم الإعلان من جانب سيمبا لأنه يعتبرها مفاجأة للجماهير التي ظلت تتغنى باسم اللاعب حتى بعد رحيله إلى الأهلي.

ما سهل المفاوضات بين الأهلي وسيمبا هو أن الأخير يستمع إلى عروض رحيل بابي ساخو وبيتر باندا، لتخفيض عدد الأجانب في الفريق والذي وصل إلى 12 ويجب أن يرحل أحدهم من أجل الصفقات الجديدة.

وأضاف مصدر من سيمبا للصحيفة: “حتى الآن يوجد أكثر من 12 لاعبًا أجنبيًا متبقي من الموسم الماضي، نعمل على هذا الأمر، لكن صفقة ميكيسوني ما هي إلا مسألة وقت”.

Pakistan sports channel Geo Super’s business-unit head, Mohammad Ali, has said the channel struck up a “fair deal” with the PCB for the rights to broadcast the upcoming series against Sri Lanka in the UAE.While Ten Sports bagged the rights for the series against South Africa, Geo Super won the television rights for a series of three Tests, five ODIs and two Twenty20s along with a one-off T20 against Afghanistan. The values of the deals were kept confidential by the PCB when the deal was announced, but the board had said the amount was “higher than the previous contract”. Media reports had the deal valued at close to $3.5 million.”It’s a fair deal compared to the previous contract [the Sri Lanka series in 2012, covered by Ten Sports], which was much lower than the current one,” Ali told ESPNcricinfo. “This time the values are higher by up to 35%, so I think we offered a very decent price. We are looking to build our reputation here and establish a long-term relationship. For us it’s a positive thing.”It’s not easy to do your business going away from your base but we wanted it and we got it and we will manage it. With the venture, we want to get our presence noticed and want people to know that we are promoting international cricket as well.”Geo also holds the rights for domestic cricket in Pakistan until October 2013 and is said to have run into financial difficulties during previous broadcast deals while showing world events. While the PCB has asked for a full bank guarantee before the series, Ali claimed that the channel had never defaulted in business in the past. “We never defaulted on any front,” he said. “I am not saying we don’t owe others money but when you are in business, you owe others money and others owe you money as well, so it’s all about business.”There is also said to be excessive advertisements aired by Geo Super while broadcasting domestic games; when asked about the same for the upcoming international matches, Ali said they would “try to maintain a balance” and the “focus would be on cricket”.”It will be different but we will try to balance things. It’s an extensive series with three Test matches so we have plenty of time to balance the advertisements with no intrusion. Yes, sometimes there are exceptional stages in rain-affected matches but obviously we won’t book more than our capacity. The focus will be mainly on the cricket and we will ensure the best international cricket coverage for our viewers.”Ali also said the channel would not be sharing the broadcast rights with PTV, Pakistan’s national channel, as there was no such specification in the contract. Geo Super was involved in a conflict with PTV in 2003 but Ali said their rivalry aside, they are “improving” their relationship with the national channel.”There is no clause of sharing the rights with PTV at all in the contract but it has been written that we are to share the feed with the terrestrial networks at a price,” Ali said. “We will share after a commercial arrangement, we believe people should not be deprived of anything. We are negotiating with them [PTV] and have maintained good relations with them. The rivalry aspect is put to one side, but we are improving our relationship with them and will move on together in a mutually beneficial relationship.”This is not the first time Geo TV network has taken international cricket rights from the PCB. The previous instance, in 2003, ended in a bizarre episode when the first one-day match of New Zealand’s tour of Pakistan was blacked out worldwide. The controversy was defused when the then-president of Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf, intervened. A meeting led to an agreement for a joint broadcast of the remaining matches, with Pakistan Television screening the games for viewers in Pakistan and Geo TV beaming the signal abroad.

Presidente do Corinthians, Andrés Sanchez participou de um teste prático ao lado de Diego Lugano, superintendente de relações institucionais do São Paulo – o Palmeiras não enviou representante.

Na opinião de Andrés, a implementação do VAR trata-se de uma medida irreversível, mas será preciso paciência para absorver eventuais erros de procedimento com a nova tecnologia. O presidente comentou como foi a experiência ao lado do uruguaio.

-É uma coisa irreversível. Eu e Lugano participamos de um lance no qual demoramos 2min30s para rever. É complicado. Dirigente, jogadores, torcida têm de ter um pouco de paciência. Só com o tempo vai melhorar. Não é simples. Imagine, saiu o gol e foi falta no começo. Eu tenho uma interpretação e você tem outra. É difícil. Vai dar alguns problemas, mas é algo irreversível. Temos que ter paciência, estudar bastante e se preparar cada vez melhor – ponderou Andrés, durante entrevista coletiva na sede da entidade.

Assim como Andrés, Lugano concorda que o VAR é um caminho irreversível para o futebol brasileiro. Hoje dirigente do São Paulo, o ex-zagueiro é a favor do árbitro de vídeo e acredita que a mudança é positiva.

-Recordamos muitas, muitas coisas (ele e Andrés). Mas nisso estamos de acordo: o VAR chega para ajudar, é a tecnologia no futebol. Está longe ainda da perfeição. Nos últimos anos, o VAR tem interferido, querendo fazer justiça. Ainda precisa evoluir. Estou convencido de que a evolução terminará quando o capitão ou o técnico do time decida quando o árbitro deve rever o lance, como em outros esportes – disse Lugano, e seguiu:

– É preciso melhorar para não virar bagunça, com muita gente opinando. Muito tempo se perde de jogo. Porém, é uma iniciativa boa da Fifa. Imita outros esportes. Em muitos lugares do mundo funciona bem. Funciona até melhor que no futebol. Liga dos Campões, Copa do Mundo, final da Copa do Brasil… Não foi justo. É uma boa intenção, vai ajudar, mas é só o começo.

O VAR será totalmente custeado pela Federação, que estima um gasto de R$ 28 mil por jogo. O árbitro de vídeo estará presente em todos os jogos do mata-mata do Paulistão de 2019 nos estádios do estado.

Last week, Cricket Australia assembled more than 20 of the nation’s sharpest cricket minds at the SCG in an attempt to work out how to help the nation’s struggling batsmen. Simon Katich was not among the delegates, but he has a simple piece of advice for those players fighting to establish themselves as consistent run-makers at state and international level – no one else can do it for you.Katich’s message of self-reliance was significant both for how true it was to him, as the owner of a proven batting technique few coaches would admit to having suggested, and for how far out of step it is with the ways of the 21st century game. Australian batsmen have never been surrounded by more mentors and minders. But as Katich stated so bluntly, at the moment of critical importance it is just them against the bowler.”The harsh part of this game is that even though it’s a team game it’s very much an individual game, particularly batting,” Katich said after making 67 for Western Australia against Victoria at North Sydney Oval. “So you can help as much as you can with advice and passing on experience, but at the end of the day you’re out there on your own.”One thing I’ve gathered from my career is the more self-sufficient you become as a batsman the better off you’ll be, because unfortunately no one can bat for you. Everyone can help, coaches and team-mates can help with advice, but in the end it’s just you against the bowler and you’ve got to win that battle. There’s some good kids floating around the state system, no doubt, and it’s a matter of them grabbing their opportunities and making the most of it.”Alongside the grabbing of opportunity and the fostering of independence, Katich joined his fellow late 30-somethings Ricky Ponting and Michael Hussey in arguing that the current crop of international batsmen needed to be granted faith and continuity. He recalled taking time to feel settled as an international batsman himself, and wondered if his successors have been given enough of a chance to find their feet.”I just think people have got to be patient because it’s not that easy to step into international cricket and perform straight away,” he said. “There’s many guys in the past that have taken time, I know myself it took time to feel comfortable at Test level. So it doesn’t happen straight away but if there’s patience and persistence with guys then hopefully at some point they’ll reward the selectors and keep churning out consistent runs.”Katich is playing for WA after a decade out of the yellow cap due to a request by his former team-mate Justin Langer to reinforce an alarmingly thin Warriors batting order, beset by injuries, national call-ups and a wider malaise affecting the state. So far he has agreed only to play in the domestic limited-overs matches in Sydney, but Langer is pushing him to go on to four-day duty.”I want to be able to walk in the front door of my house in the next couple of months,” Katich joked in reference to a Sheffield Shield schedule of six matches in as many weeks after the limited-overs tournament concludes. “I’m pretty sure Justin will keep chipping away at me, he has been the last few months.”But I’m happy with my decision, I’m happy to be helping the boys out as well, in extreme circumstances, where a number got injured before the Champions League and we’ve lost three or four of our senior players to the India tour. I guess the timing of it all was nice to try to help the boys out by playing this week and giving them some experience. I am grateful for having started my career in WA, and from that point of view it’s nice to help out in this way.”

PIA finished at 275 for 7. For National Bank, Hammad Azam and Hasan Raza picked up a couple of wickets each.National Bank were asked to bat and lost the wicket of Kamran Akmal in the second over. But opener Sami Aslam and Akbar-ur-Rehman added 227 runs together for the second wicket in 31.4 overs to set up the base for a strong total. Aslam scored 126, his maiden List A century, while Akbar, the dominant partner of the two, scored 121. After Akbar’s dismissal, Aslam picked up the pace and added 43 with Fawad Alam in 5.1 overs. Alam remained unbeaten on 40 off 32 balls as National Bank ended their innings on 321.Sharjeel Khan smashed 194 off 124 deliveries to set up Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited crushing win against Water and Power Development Authority in Islamabad.
