Apesar de considerar que tanto o clube como Gilberto possuem o desejo de prolongarem o contrato, Bellintani também trabalha com a possibilidade de não se chegar a um acerto e, com isso, o Bahia ter de ir ao mercado em busca de um novo camisa 9.

– Acho que andou um pouco mais, mas não o suficiente para cravar que ele permanecerá no clube. O Bahia quer que ele fique, o Gilberto quer ficar, há uma distância financeira entre as expectativas… Se houver desejo de ambos, a negociação vai ser feita. Se não ocorrer, a gente vai naturalmente buscar um outro jogador para suprir essa lacuna.

One of the Sydney sides had to break their losing streak tonight, but both teams did their best to keep it alive in a bizarrely entertaining match at ANZ Stadium.In a game that was morose at times, and resembled a black comedy at others, the Sixers eventually claimed their second win of the tournament, and consigned the Thunder to their eleventh consecutive loss as a T20 franchise.Chasing 133 to win the Sixers never really looked in complete control with the exception of Daniel Hughes who made his first T20 fifty, a match winning 51 not out from 36 balls. But even Hughes rode his luck courtesy of a dropped catch and several misfields.Hughes, the 23-year-old New South Welshman, was promoted to No. 3 in just his second game. He watched early as Michael Lumb struck two powerful blows straight before lofting one straight down the throat of deep square-leg.Hughes then watched a procession of team-mates come and go to some very soft dismissals. Brad Haddin looked in good touch before he lost his focus on the chase and lost a personal argument with Chris Gayle. Haddin felt Gayle was not living up to his paycheque so far, yet he holed out unnecessarily to his darts for 18.Steve Smith then nicked Dirk Nannes, having clubbed him over the long-on the previous delivery, before Moises Henriques played around a straight-break from Gayle to leave the Sixers needing 44 from 34 balls with just five wickets in hand.Hughes took that as a cue to swing hard for the rope. He struck two boundaries and two sixes, all over the leg side, in the next two overs to take the requirement under a run-a-ball.Nannes returned to skittle Steve O’Keefe’s stumps via his pad to make things interesting. But a misfield from Gayle, and a simple dropped catch from Scott Coyte at mid-on, gifted Hughes four runs in two deliveries to reach his half-century and all but bury the Thunder.Brett Lee’s winning strike, a top edge over the wicketkeeper, seemed an appropriate ending to a bizarre match.Earlier, the game appeared as if it would not last the distance in front of a crowd of nearly 21,000. It was a staggering attendance given the poor recent crowds at ANZ and even poorer recent records of the two teams on display.Gayle again failed to fire, bowled by a cracking yorker from Josh Lalor, having seen his captain Chris Rogers depart the previous over. Matt Prior fell five balls later, in the identical fashion to his previous dismissal, failing to clear mid-off with a lofted drive. When Sean Abbott hit a full toss straight to point the 4 for 27 flashing on the scoreboard had an all too familiar feel to it.Thankfully Usman Khawaja found some much needed touch to put some respectability to the Thunder’s total. At one stage they were 5 for 75 with five overs to go but Khawaja, with help of Simon Keen and Coyte, managed to score 57 from the last 30 balls to help set a target 132.Khawaja’s unbeaten 66 from 47 balls featured 11 crisply struck boundaries, which in itself speaks volumes about the left-hander’s class given the slow outfield and two-paced nature of the drop-in wicket.However, Khawaja’s innings was to no avail. The Thunder have not won a match since Gayle scored a match-winning century against the Adelaide Strikers on December 23, 2011.

Ainda de acordo com o jogador, o trabalho da pré-temporada será muito importante para o grupo durante o ano.

– Vamos procurar fazer uma pré-temporada forte, intensa, para buscarmos títulos em 2019. Temos uma base muito qualificada e que pode fazer a diferença durante a temporada. O próximo ano tem tudo para ser muito especial para o Fortaleza e seu torcedor – finalizou Éderson.

وأكمل نائب رئيس النادي الأهلي: “مجتمع النادي الأهلي يضم مليون مواطن مصري، مجلس الإدارة كله يعمل كمجموعة واحدة، نتمنى جمهورنا يكون في ظهر الفريق وهو كلمة السر، أرجو من الجماهير تبدأ في الحضور ومن المؤكد هناك تواصل في بعض الملفات ومتفهم جدًا ويجب على الجماهير أن تساعد معنا”.

South Africa won the first trophy available to them in their home summer with victory in the three-match Twenty20 series. After piling on the fifth highest score posted in the shortest format (at both international and domestic level) at St George’s Park, thanks largely to an 89-run third wicket stand between Henry Davids and Justin Ontong, Aaron Phangiso and Ryan McLaren ensured South Africa defended it comfortably.All of New Zealand’s bowlers save for Mitchell McClenaghan and Ronnie Hira failed to read the pace of the Port Elizabeth pitch. Against the aggression of Davids and Ontong they gave away too many runs which allowed the pair to lay the launch-pad for take-off.New Zealand did not have the batsmen to do the same. With Martin Guptill and Brendon McCullum at the crease, there was some hope. Once the dominoes began to fall, there was no stopping the slide. Still, New Zealand competed with the hosts with more heart than was expected of them to set the tone ahead for the Test matches.As an example of their ability to ruffle feathers, New Zealand had the hosts in early trouble, even in the absence of Richard Levi. South Africa’s opening partnership stuttered again when Faf du Plessis, who was promoted to bat in his preferred top-two spot, was bowled by Ronnie Hira as he attempted to hit through mid-wicket.Levi’s omission also meant Quinton de Kock was given more responsibility at No. 3 but his inexperience showed. Instead of rotating strike while Davids kept going, de Kock tried to loft McClenaghan over long-on and got a leading edge. Corey Anderson ran from mid-off to take the catch at mid-on and de Kock’s series with the bat ended without him living up to the hype.Davids had none of the same expectation but exceeded all hopes. He displayed a range of classical shots, tinged only with some extra intent. The drive off the back foot and the pull shot were his hallmarks but more notable than that was that he scored off almost every ball he faced. Both he and Ontong pushed each other between the wickets and put pressure on the New Zealand fielders.The only chance they offered was when Davids went aerial against Doug Bracewell and lobbed the ball to Martin Guptill at short extra cover. Guptill seemed to lose the ball in the background and although he got fingers to it, spilt the chance. Davids was on 32 and went on to more than double his score.As Davids grew in confidence, so did Ontong, whose assurance swelled against James Franklin. Ontong hit him for back to back sixes: down the ground and then to deep mid-wicket but Franklin won the mini-battle when Ontong was caught trying to send another slower ball over the leg-side boundary. Still, he had taken 16 runs off the five balls he faced in that over and South Africa had 116 runs and seven wickets in hand as they approached the last five overs.Those turned out to the most profitable, even though Davids departed mid-way through. South Africa added 63 runs in the final quarter of their innings, thanks to their big-hitters. Farhaan Behardien and David Miller both struck the ball cleanly against New Zealand’s clueless death bowlers.Contrastingly, South Africa’s attack had a firm grip on what was required. Ryan McClaren had Rob Nicol lbw in the first over when he was struck in line of middle and offstump. Guptill showed glimpses of the form he displayed three days ago when his 101 took New Zealand to victory. He drove with power and was assisted by McCullum, who seemed to finally find his placement.Just as the two settled, Guptill tried to paddle Phangiso over short fine-leg but was caught by Robin Peterson. Phangiso claimed another big scalp in his next over when McCullum thought he had got him over long-off but was caught on the boundary.New Zealand remained in the hunt and after 11 overs had the same score South Africa had posted – 71 – but had lost two more wickets. Colin Munro edged a McLaren short ball and James Franklin swung to long-on to give Phangiso his third. The point of no return was reached when Morne Morkel leapt to his left at short third man to send Jimmy Neesham on his way.The required run rate climbed to over 14 to an over with six to go and only last rites were left to be performed. Rory Kleinveldt took the ninth wicket but Morne Morkel finished without reward as a new South African era made itself known. For New Zealand, there remains much to work on. They were suspected to have bled 20 runs too many but in the end, were almost double that short.

E, nesta sexta-feira, na reapresentação do elenco para a pré-temporada, duas ausências de jovens foram sentidas, o zagueiro Kanu e o meia Mateus Jorge, levantando dúvidas a respeito do futuro da dupla.

Segundo apuração do LANCE!, Kanu está perto de ser emprestado para a Cabofriense até o fim do Campeonato Carioca. O defensor tem 21 anos e foi campeão brasileiro sub-20, em 2016 – inclusive marcando gol na final. Em 2018, quase foi cedido ao Macaé por empréstimo, a pedido de Felipe Conceição, técnico ex-Botafogo e que estava no comando da equipe da Região dos Lagos.

Já em relação a Mateus Jorge, a tendência é que o jogador de 20 anos (e que também não tem mais idade de juniores) não seja aproveitado por Zé Ricardo. Mateus tem o seu vínculo a expirar no dia 30 de junho deste ano e será dispensado no segundo semestre. O Glorioso está aberto a propostas por ele.

Mateus Jorge também foi campeão brasileiro da categoria juniores em 2016. Naquela ocasião, era reserva de um time comandado por Eduardo Barroca e que tinha Matheus Fernandes e Bochecha entre os titulares. Oriundos da base, Rickson, Wenderson, Jonathan e Igor Cássio serão os aproveitados em 2019.

New Zealand were a wicket away from their third consecutive win, but a six off the last ball by Ryan McLaren gave South Africa a consolatory win.”It would have been great to win the series 3-0,” McCullum said. “But winning the series, achieving what we’ve achieved in this series and even how we’ve played today as well, we’ve showed the characteristics that we want to be known for.”New Zealand made a shaky start after choosing to bat and were 68 for 4 in the 22nd over. But resurgent half-centuries by Grant Elliott, Colin Munro and James Franklin lifted them to a competitive 260. South Africa responded with a controlled chase, but the fall of Graeme Smith towards the end of the innings allowed the New Zealand bowlers to exert pressure on the inexperienced middle-order and almost pull off another win.”Our bowlers tried hard all day. The wicket did skid on a little bit, and it was probably slightly easier to bat on in that second innings,” McCullum said. “But that’s the nature of the toss as well and playing in foreign conditions. I can’t speak highly enough of the effort from our guys.””I thought we showed some real character and some real fighting qualities to hang in there, when we were behind the eight ball and get ourselves back in the game. – Ainda não tive oportunidade de falar com ele. Acredito que tenha se excedido um pouco as declarações, mas já pediu desculpas. É jogador do Grêmio. Está falado. Bola para frente.

Outro ponto mencionado foi a saída de peças consideradas titulares nos últimos anos como o goleiro Marcelo Grohe (Al-Ittihad-ARA) e o meio-campista Ramiro que foi para o Corinthians. Para ele, o mais importante é acreditar que as peças remanescentes, com a adição de reforços como Júlio César (ex-Fluminense) e Rômulo (emprestado pelo Flamengo) manterão o nível.
