O Náutico parece mesmo empenhado em reagir e sair da zona de rebaixamento da Séire B. Nesta terça-feira, bateu, de forma tranquila, o Figueirense, adversário direto, na Arena Pernambuco. Definindo o placar ainda no primeiro tempo, com Giovanni e William, o Timbu finalmente saiu da lanterna da competição, passando o ABC e estacionando na 19ª posição, com 17 pontos. O Figueira se manteve em 18º, com 21, perdendo a chance de sair do Z4 nesta rodada.

Colados dentro da zona de rebaixamento, Náutico e Figueirense se enfrentavam em um confronto direto para começar a reagir na competição. Separados por apenas sete pontos na tabela – Figueira era o 18º, com 21 pontos e Timbu o lanterna, com 14 – uma vitória poderia aumentar a diferença para dez ou diminuir para quatro pontos, colocando pressão para a sequência da temporada.

E quem parecia mais interessado na partida era o Náutico. O Timbu era quem mantinha a posse de bola e tentava propor jogo, enquanto que o Figueira só se defendia. A pressão resultou em gol aos 17 minutos, com Giovanni. Depois de escanteio cobrado rapidamente, o meia, completamente livre de marcação, dominou, ajeitou e bateu no canto, sem chances para Saulo.

O gol não serviu para acordar o Figueirense. Na verdade, a equipe catarinense pareceu piorar. O Náutico aproveitou e continuou sua pressão, chegando ao segundo gol aos 31 minutos. Giovanni deu grande passe para Breno, que invadiu a área e rolou para William, que, tranquilo e sozinho, mandou para dentro. O Timbu quase marcou o terceiro no final do primeiro tempo, mas Gilmar parou em Saulo, que garantiu que o Figueira não fosse para o intervalo perdendo por mais que 2 a 0.

No segundo tempo, o alvinegro continuava perdido. A entrada de Lucas no lugar de Bruno Santos não surtiu efeito, e o Náutico continuou comandando as ações. Erick teve grande chance de marcar aos oito minutos, mas Saulo, de novo, salvou o Figueira. O domínio era total do Timbu.

A partir dos 20 minutos, o jogo desacelerou. o Náutico não pressionava tanto e o Figueirense não mostrava força para reagir. Aos 27 minutos, Naylhor fez falta e recebeu seu segundo amarelo, sendo expulso e acabando com qualquer chance de reação do Figueira. A partida então foi se arrastando, com poucas chances até o seu término. Com a vitória, o Náutico deixou a lanterna da Série B, ficando em 19º lugar, com 17 pontos e jogando o ABC para a última posição. O Figueirense perdeu a chance de sair do Z4, se mantendo na 18ª colocação, com 21.

كشفت تقارير صحفية إيطالية، أن هدف مانشستر يونايتد، أنتوني لاعب أياكس الهولندي، هو من سيحدد مستقبل الدولي المغربي حكيم زياش.

Although, it is worth pointing out that he could have done more in possession. Per SofaScore, he only completed 72% of his attempted passes, whilst his midfield partners both completed 76% of theirs. This suggests that all three of them could have been better with the ball at their feet as they failed to achieve a high success rate with their passing, which is an area for improvement ahead of the next set of matches.

Despite the lapse passing, Evans’ performance was a shining light for Sunderland due to his tenacity in midfield and that could earn him a regular place in the starting XI in the coming weeks. He has only started five League One matches, but this display could aid his chances of adding to that number.

Everton could secure a significant upgrade on Alex Iwobi after being linked with a move for Dinamo Moscow midfielder Arsen Zakharyan ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.

After making his first-team debut for Dinamo in 2020, Zakharyan has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting talents to come out of his homeland in many years.

In just 13 Premier Liga appearances last season, the creative talent scored three goals and provided a further five assists, earning a call up to Russia’s senior set up before going on to feature in four World Cup qualification fixtures.

And Zakharyan has taken his game to new heights in the opening weeks of the current campaign.

The youngster was described as having “exciting potential” by journalist Ben Bocsak, and it’s easy to understand why.

Zakharyan has already notched up two strikes and a whopping seven assists in 14 appearances for the capital club, playing a pivotal part in their rise to third place in the top-flight table.

It’s no surprise then, that the £8.1m-rated prodigy has caught the eye of so many European heavyweights, but it’s arguably Everton who need his inventiveness and eye for a pass most.

Former Arsenal academy graduate Iwobi has struggled to make his mark on the Merseyside outfit since his big-money move back in the summer of 2019, providing just 11 goal contributions in 76 outings for the Blues.

As a result, the Nigeria international has often fallen way below the standard expected at Everton, and the club’s hierarchy could secure a big upgrade on the 25-year-old by sanctioning a move for Zakharyan over the coming months.

At present, Nottinghamshire look like the only team capable of challenging Durham, the reigning champions and current leaders in the county table. Twenty five points adrift, but with two matches in hand, this is a crucial match for Nottinghamshire that could play a major part in deciding the Championship. Both teams have ample reserves, especially in pace bowling: Durham are without Steve Harmison and Graham Onions, Nottinghamshire without Stuart Broad, and they could still afford to leave out Darren Pattinson and the promising Luke Fletcher.Despite their rich bowling resources, though, the home side had to bow to the Durham batting pair of Will Smith and Dale Benkenstein. They pulled their side out of a degree of early trouble with a fine, if at times dogged, partnership of 193 for the fourth wicket; if they did not score quickly enough, on a pitch not really conducive to fast scoring, they laid what should have been a good foundation for a potential victory. However, their position was spoiled by the events of the last five minutes of play when both fell to Mark Ealham to leave honours even after the first day.Presumably expecting the ball to swing – which it did to some extent – the home side put Durham in to bat on winning the toss. The early swing was not so excessive as to trouble the batsmen unduly, and for a while Mark Di Venuto and Mark Stoneman played confidently, keeping the score moving by pushing for singles and dispatching loose balls for four, mainly to leg and through the covers. Di Venuto did survive one fortuitous edge between second and third slip to the boundary, off Charlie Shreck.Ryan Sidebottom bowled well in his opening spell of eight overs for 11 runs, although he does have a habit of bowling just wide enough of a left-hander’s off stump for the batsman to shoulder arms. He struck a significant blow by removing Di Venuto, however, who was trapped lbw on his crease for 22. This slowed the scoring rate and the Durham innings lost momentum. Stoneman fell for 24, driving half-heartedly against the steady medium-pace of Andre Adams, who took a smart return catch. Gordon Muchall produced two superb cover drives for four, but he did not last long; at 10 he badly misjudged a drive and was caught at the wicket off the inside edge.Durham were now struggling at 63 for 3, and with the accurate seam and swing of Adams and Ealham in tandem, runs were hard to come by, especially on a pitch where the ball did not come too readily on to the bat. The batsmen were showing signs of frustration at times, but Smith and Benkenstein, present and past captains, survived until lunch – when the score was 69 for 3 – and after the break the latter at least found the going rather easier. He had started slowly, but now played some impressive strokes, most notably an effortless pull for six off Adams. Ealham, however, continued to bowl with great economy. Benkenstein reached his 50 off 93 balls, while Smith was still struggling in the twenties. Their 100 partnership took them 227 balls.Not a wicket fell during the afternoon session, and in the first over after tea Smith pulled the off-spinner Samit Patel for four to reach a 50 that took him 159 balls. But he was now catching up Benkenstein, who was rather becalmed and when on 73 almost fell to a brilliant diving attempt at midwicket, the fielder being just unable to hold on to the ball. After leaving the seventies, he was untroubled by the second new ball and progressed steadily to his century, which came with a cover-drive for four off Ealham, from 223 balls. Soon afterwards, though, he played over a ball from Ealham that kept slightly low and was bowled for 105, just before the close of play.Durham would have been well placed had this pair been able to survive the day, but in the final over the gallant Smith, who rarely looked in his best form, groped outside the off stump to a ball from Ealham that moved away, edging a simple catch to the keeper. So the home side walked off the field in unexpected relief and encouragement, and, as far as can be judged, the first day’s play of this significant match ended with honours about even.

– Voltar a marcar com a camisa do Vasco é muito bom. É muito satisfatório poder fazer um gol no Maracanã, um palco do futebol mundial, foi meu primeiro lá. Estou muito feliz pelo que aconteceu e espero conseguir repetir esse feito durante a reta final do Brasileiro, assim como estar atuando cada vez melhor – disse Ramon.

Além de coroar o grande momento de Ramon, o gol no clássico ainda teve um sabor mais especial. Ele foi um pedido de Antônia, filha do jogador. Ela entrou pela primeira vez com o pai no estádio e ganhou um belo gol de presente.

Um dos líderes do elenco, o lateral-esquerdo disse que a equipe precisa manter a pegada que teve contra o Fluminense para o restante do Brasileirão. Assim, ele acredita que o time vai conseguir uma vaga na próxima Libertadores.

– Temos que manter essa pegada, o espírito que tivemos em campo diante do Fluminense, para vencer o Grêmio em casa e seguir em busca do nosso objetivo que é a vaga na Libertadores – comentou.

Antes do duelo contra o Fluminense, Ramon tinha marcado pela última vez com a camisa do Vasco em 2011, no Campeonato Carioca. Na ocasião, ele deixou dois na goleada de 9 a 0 contra o América.
